Warranties

Equipment Warranty

 

Huber USA warrants that all Equipment shall conform to the specifications and descriptions. All Equipment shall be merchantable, and fit and sufficient for the purposes which are known by Huber USA, and any services shall be rendered in a good and workmanlike manner by skilled personnel. Huber USA further warrants all Equipment against any defects in material for the 12 months ex works.

 

Huber USA's warranty covers parts and service. After consultation with a certified Huber USA technician, Huber USA will determine whether an on-site repair will be made.  The determination of whether the unit will be repaired on-site or returned for repair will be made solely at the discretion of Huber USA.    Huber USA may direct the customer to return Equipment for warranty repair. Huber USA shall not be responsible for items that are not removed or that are damaged before they are received by Huber USA or its designate.  Huber USA must select or approve the carrier used by the BUYER. All Equipment shall be prepared for shipment in a manner that follows good commercial practice and is adequate to ensure safe arrival. The BUYER shall mark all containers with the Return Materials Authorization number issued by Huber at the time of the BUYER's contact to request warranty repairs, as well as pertinent shipping information and a complete description of the reason the BUYER is seeking a repair.

 

Exclusions

 

This warranty does not cover normal maintenance, damage due to fire, flood or other acts of nature, misuses, unsuitable utilities or electrical disturbances, damage due to unapproved thermal fluids, improper installation, improper or unauthorized repairs or damages incurred in shipping. All glassware and accessories are expressly excluded from this warranty declaration. The following items are not included under this contract. Paint, silk screen lettering, logos, covers, accessories, switch covers and trim, fabricated metal parts, power cords, communication cables, hoses, connectors, clamps, thermal fluids, glassware, gaskets, unauthorized opening, modification of the unit including usage for other than the intended purpose. Altering, removing or other tampering with the rating plate or serial number voids all warranties. Any claims under these warranties must be made to Huber USA before the end of the warranty period. Compensation for labor other than Huber USA personnel will not be Huber USA's obligation. Part(s) replacement does not constitute an extension of the original warranty period. It is the BUYER's responsibility to pay for parts, labor and shipping for non-warranty repairs. Purchase orders will be required for parts and labor prior to scheduling of non-warranty work. Huber USA will invoice the BUYER for parts and labor for all non-warranty repairs. In no event will Huber be liable for damages as a result of the unavailability of parts.

Should the BUYER carry out a repair, Huber USA will replace the defect component when it is returned immediately after the repair and Huber USA checks that the component has failed in normal usage. If Huber does not receive the defect part within four weeks, even in the warranty period, an invoice will be issued for the defective part.
