The delight was huge when Prof. Dr. Lothar Späth, previous minister president for the Land Baden-Württemberg presented the "TOP 100" seal at a presentation on the evening of Friday of 26 June 2009, at the Gästhaus Petersberg in Königswinter. "We are delighted for our workforce and especially for our father, who has always caused uproar in the world of temperature control technology, and is known as the "Refrigeration Pope" or "The Revolutionary" in the technical press. Our climate of innovation convinced the jury, and the distinction of being one of the 100 most innovative small and medium sized companies in Germany, will highly motivate us and our super team, especially in these turbulent economic times". The award "TOP 100" underlines the impression from the Achema exhibition a few weeks ago: The exhibition visitors were visibly impressed by the innovation shown and commented in a totally positive manner. "We have managed to create a structure which allows great flexibility, so it is no problem to call spontaneous employee meetings to discuss new ideas, to evaluate them and to bring them to fruition in a timely manner. This instrument has been shown to be especially efficient as for example, it allows prototypes to be developed and rapidly brought to our customers. They in their turn can take part in regular workshops in the Tango Factory to explain their ideas and wishes, and so feed our pool of ideas. The innovation success shows that we are heading the right way, through our close contact with customers and a thoroughly unconventional innovative thinking.
