Headquarters
The technological foundations of our global success are established at the headquarters of Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau SE in Germany. We combine research, development and production to create the innovations that make Huber an international technology leader in precision temperature control.
Complete product lines are developed and continuously optimised at our headquarters. Our portfolio ranges from dynamic high-performance systems in the Unistat series to energy-efficient recirculating chillers and classic heating and cooling thermostats. We also realise customised special developments. Our solutions work reliably in laboratories, technical centres and production processes worldwide thanks to decades of experience, comprehensive engineering knowledge and uncompromising quality standards. Our experts develop technologies for almost any fluid temperature control task in the temperature range from minus 125 to plus 425 degrees Celsius.
The Tango factory is often referred to as the coldest place in the Ortenau region. Inside, behind the facade, it is a thermodynamic masterpiece that makes even heating and air conditioning experts think.
Our company was founded in 1968 by Peter Huber as one of the first master companies in the refrigeration engineering trade and has been family-owned ever since. The legal form was changed to a stock corporation in 2016 and to a Societas Europaea in 2023. At our headquarters in Offenburg, the Tango factory, we currently employ about 400 people. In addition, with international subsidiaries and sales partners, we offer a worldwide network for consulting, sales and service.
With numerous product innovations, we have driven technological development in the field of fluid temperature control. The introduction of Unistat temperature control systems in 1989 was a revolution in temperature control technology, and to this day Unistats set the tone when it comes to highly dynamic temperature control processes.
